This photograph was taken by a Chilean photographer, called "Nicolas Marquez Peñaloza". He was born in Vichuquén, Maule, Chile. He´s a Mapuche descent.
The photograph shows the beautiful lake Vichuquén with geographic shape of a witch. It is a place with abundant flora and fauna.
The landscape is graced by swans and cattails in all seasons. It is a tourist area, ideal for family trips and for practice water sports. In summer people mainly it mobilized by boat and sailboat.
It was taken the winter of 2013.
I like this photograph because it is in the hotel courtyard, where I spent my childhood. It brings back fond memories with my parents and friends. It is a very serene and quiet place. It is interesting also because it is a place of many legends about witches, and this area of the lake is called "Coven" meaning witch meeting.
In the middle of the lake there is a green island with no inhabitants, very tenebrous and mysterious .
